Veneers

A porcelain veneer is a thin layer of tooth-coloured translucent material. Handcrafted veneer ‘shells’ are placed over natural individual teeth in a bid to cover the underlying enamel. This is often to change the colour and/or shape of a tooth that is discoloured, damaged, chipped, misaligned or cracked. Veneers also provide extra protection for the natural tooth. Since they are closely matched to the colour and lustre of existing teeth and replicate function, onlookers will have difficulty knowing you have a veneer unless you tell them.
